Marion “Suge” Knight is firing back from behind bars, and he’s not holding back about the testimony unfolding in the Tupac Shakur murder trial. The former Death Row Records boss is calling out a key witness, claiming the man’s story doesn’t add up.
Speaking exclusively on TMZ Live from prison, Suge took aim at James McDonald, who recently took the stand in Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ trial. Suge flatly denied McDonald’s claim that he ever worked for Death Row Records.
According to Suge, McDonald has a history with the FBI as an informant, and he argued there would be clear evidence if McDonald had truly been his head of security. He pointed out that a Death Row chain or ring would have been proof, along with photos of them together.
Suge didn’t stop there. He also turned his attention to Snoop Dogg’s upcoming biopic, revealing he’s planning legal action. He claimed a former lawyer handed over his personal files, which are reportedly being used for the film.
When pressed on who he’s targeting, Suge clarified Snoop isn’t the main focus. Instead, he’s going after Universal, saying he previously had talks with the studio about telling his own Death Row story. He declared, “I am Death Row.”
Suge has also cast doubt on the case against Keefe D, suggesting the murder of Tupac goes beyond one man. With all these twists, what’s the next chapter in this decades-old saga?
