Savannah Guthrie is begging once more for the safe return of her missing mother, and her latest plea is heartbreakingly direct.
The “Today” show co-anchor, 54, took to Instagram on Monday to address the individuals who allegedly abducted 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie from her Tucson, Arizona, home six months ago. “The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place, and I know that you have tried to do things the right way,” Savannah wrote. “So I am asking you, begging you, to do the right thing now.”
She described her family as living in a “nightmare that will not end,” insisting they have “done our part” and will “never stop looking for” her mother, who vanished on Jan. 31.
This marks Savannah’s first major public appeal since a tearful on-air message from the anchor desk on June 23.
As the search continues, one question remains unanswered: what will it take to bring Nancy home?
