Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis joined their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, for Trooping the Colour, King Charles’s official birthday celebrations. Saturday marked their fifth consecutive year participating in the parade. The children arrived with their mother, Kate Middleton, as their father, Prince William, rode down the Mall on the back of a horse named Darby. Later, the Waleses joined the rest of the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the annual Royal Air Force flypast over the skies of London. Public appearances have been relatively sparse for the Wales children this year. They were last seen together at Windsor Castle for Easter Sunday church services in April, alongside their parents and extended family. Prince William and Kate also shared some special family photos from a vacation in honor of Prince Louis’s eighth birthday in April and Princess Charlotte’s 11th birthday in May. (Prince George will turn 13 in July.) Here, see the best photos of George, Charlotte, and Louis at Trooping the Colour 2026. The Princess of Wales and her three children traveled down the parade route in the Ascot Landau carriage, one of five kept by the Royal Mews. It will also be used in the Royal Procession at the Ascot Racecourse next week. The young royal wore a white dress with a Peter Pan collar with a bow at the center, and another bow in her hair to match.
