Sean Strickland is making headlines once again, this time for his outspoken comments following his reported exclusion from the upcoming UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House. The reigning middleweight champion didn’t hold back, taking aim at both the current U.S. administration and Israeli leadership in a series of fiery social media posts.

Strickland, known for his unfiltered opinions, previously expressed his disinterest in attending the June 14 event, citing concerns about mingling with controversial figures. On Wednesday, he revealed via a UFC Instagram post that he had been “banned” from participating. His response was sharp: “UFC at the White House with BB in the audience. Straight (Israel flag emoji) slop.”

In a follow-up message, Strickland humorously noted that his candid remarks about American leaders might have led to his exclusion. “To be fair they did ban me… But when you make fun of the leaders of America they tend to be a little petty lol by leaders I mean Israel,” he wrote.

The controversy escalated when Strickland shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), where he sarcastically addressed the situation. “Well, you guys, I’m not surprised, but I got the call,” he said, revealing that UFC executives had told him he wasn’t “Israeli enough” to attend the event. He went on to express mock apologies to both President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, criticizing their political decisions and the implications for American citizens.

“My allegiance was apparently in the wrong place,” he continued, taking jabs at Trump’s approval ratings and the U.S.’s military involvement in foreign conflicts. Strickland’s comments have sparked significant reactions, including from former Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who praised him for standing up for free speech and criticized the Trump administration for its alleged prioritization of foreign interests over American voters.

Despite being reportedly unwelcome at the South Lawn event, Strickland hinted at a potential protest. “Apparently, I’m not American enough to go to Freedom 250, but I still got my ticket,” he declared, suggesting he might show up to voice his dissent.

As the date approaches, fans and critics alike are left wondering how Strickland’s bold stance will resonate within the broader political landscape. Will he make good on his protest plans, or will the UFC champion find another way to voice his discontent?
