Kendra Duggar has reportedly cut off communication with her parents and siblings as her husband, Joseph Duggar, continues to battle serious criminal charges in Florida.

According to a new report citing an unnamed source, tensions within the extended family have intensified following Joseph Duggar’s March arrest on child molestation allegations.

The source claims Kendra is no longer speaking with her parents, Paul and Christina Caldwell, or her eight siblings as they attempt to rebuild their lives amid the fallout surrounding the case.

The Caldwell family reportedly faced major financial and housing difficulties after Joseph’s arrest became public. According to the report, the family left their previous home and placed many of their belongings into storage while trying to determine their next steps.

The insider alleged the family is considering relocating out of state and that Kendra’s father, Paul Caldwell, has been searching for work after reportedly losing his previous employment during the controversy.

“Relocating is always difficult, especially with a large family and the stress they are under,” the source claimed.

The report also alleged the Caldwells are attempting to distance themselves from the Duggar family but remain hurt by Kendra’s lack of communication during the situation.

Joseph Duggar, 31, pleaded not guilty after being charged in Florida with lewd and lascivious behavior involving a child under the age of 12. Authorities allege the incidents involved a 9-year-old girl during a 2020 family vacation in Panama City.

Just days after Joseph’s arrest, both he and Kendra were also charged separately in Arkansas with child endangerment-related offenses. Those charges are unrelated to the Florida molestation case.

The legal troubles have reportedly placed enormous emotional strain on the family. In a previously leaked jail phone call, Kendra allegedly became emotional while discussing the stress and anxiety caused by the ongoing investigations and public attention.

“At one moment I could be fine, and the next minute I could be absolutely beside myself,” she reportedly said during the conversation.

Meanwhile, Kendra’s family publicly broke their silence earlier this year, expressing heartbreak over the allegations and support for the alleged victim.

“Our family is both troubled and heartbroken over the alleged actions committed by our son-in-law,” the family said in a statement. “We are devastated for the young girl.”

Joseph Duggar remains involved in ongoing court proceedings, with future hearings scheduled later this year.
