Ferrari F1 legend Jean Alesi marries in stunning ceremony ahead of Italian Grand Prix

Ferrari legend Jean Alesi just wrote a whole new chapter to his love story—and it’s straight out of a fairytale. The former F1 star tied the knot in a breathtaking Italian ceremony just days before the roar of engines takes over Monza for this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix.

According to reports from local outlet Corriere Della Sera, Alesi and his bride, Ania, exchanged vows in an intimate setting at Marina del Cantone, a picturesque spot on the Sorrentine Peninsula. The sea provided a stunning natural backdrop as the couple said “I do” in front of roughly 100 close friends and family.

Among the guests was none other than fellow French F1 icon and former Ferrari driver Alain Prost. The guest list kept things low-key but star-studded, exactly the kind of classy 𝒶𝒻𝒻𝒶𝒾𝓇 you’d expect from a driver who stole the hearts of the Tifosi during his five-season stint with Ferrari.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed to a historic restaurant for lunch. Alesi later shared a sweet snapshot of himself and Ania on Instagram, captioning it simply: “Love.” Days after, he posted another image of the couple beaming while riding in a vintage Rolls-Royce, drinks in hand.

Alesi made his F1 debut back in 1989 with Tyrrell, then joined Ferrari in 1991. Though he scored just one race win in his career, his 15 podiums and fearless, emotional driving style made him a fan favorite forever. He retired from the sport after the 2001 season but has remained a paddock regular ever since.

Whether the Frenchman will make an appearance at Monza this weekend, or if he and Ania are already off enjoying a honeymoon, hasn’t been confirmed. But one thing’s for sure—this is one victory lap he won’t forget anytime soon.

Could a surprise appearance at Monza be next on the agenda for the happy couple?
