I sprained my arm and burned my face—healing from a dislocated elbow while trying to fold an origami crane on stream. My chat is going wild with “lucky carrots” and song requests, and I’m juggling a hardstyle EDM playlist that’s too loud to focus over. Last night, I was supposed to stream, but a friend decided to treat me to dinner instead. I asked if it was okay since I’d normally be live.

He said sure, we’d drive around Manila and bring you along through a phone cam. Then he got caught speeding. A ticket. A stupid speeding ticket ruined the whole plan.

I’m not mad about the dinner—I’m mad that he risked it and lost us the stream. And I’m still on a sugar crash from the carrot-shaped candy I keep eating. Now I’m back here, folding this crane while my arm throbs, and I can’t shake the feeling that I’m slowing everyone down. I learned this fold from my friend Dina; she also taught me to shade the edges in black.

It looks good, but my hand won’t stop shaking. Chat says the streamer is made by the chat, so I have a pretty chat. I try to smile and thank everyone for the carrots, but the music is too loud and I’m forgetting basic folds.

I just hope the next stream goes smoother than last night’s disaster.
