A UNIVERSITY lecturer has been accused of killing and dismembering his student – days after he walked away from the crime scene clad in a dress and hat, dragging a suitcase.
Cops believe the bizarre outfit was a botched attempt to pose as his alleged victim as she lay lifeless inside his home.
Police made the gruesome discovery of a mutilated female graduate, who had travelled to South Korea for her graduation, on Tuesday.
The woman, 25, was found dead at the lecturer’s flat in Gyeongsan after having been missing for five days.
In a sickening twist, parts of her remains were also found in the Gyeonggi Province 150 miles away.
That same day, police arrested her lecturer, a man in his 30s surnamed Jeong, on suspicion of her murder.
The Chinese national confessed to killing his student and scattering her remains – even showing police where he had abandoned her mutilated corpse.
The pair had reportedly met up on the night of her death on August 20, police confirmed.

A day later, at around 10:30pm, the suspect leaves the flat – clad in a skirt, hat and mask in what cops believe was a botched attempt to resemble his female student.
Chillingly, the man was also wheeling a suitcase – though police have not yet confirmed what was inside.
The following day he contacted the police and pretended to be the woman’s boyfriend, reporting her as missing.
While cops scoured the city for the missing student, Jeong is spotted calmy carrying a black bin bag – carrying an object the size of two footballs – to a nearby garbage dump.
The brutality of the crime has sparked calls for Jeong to undergo a psychopathy test – which he has refused.
In his confession, he told police that he killed the woman in a fit of passion sparked by an argument.
Detectives are investigating whether the two really did have a relationship.
The horrifying case has rocked Chinese media – with several people demanding that Jeong be given the death penalty.
State executions are sanctioned in China – the origin of both the suspect and his alleged victim – but not allowed in South Korea – where the murder took place.
