BODYCAM footage has shown the moment San Francisco 49rs owner Jed York was arrested in a prostitution sting.
Multimillionaire York, 46, was arrested after being pulled over outside a trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio, on Sunday.
Newly divorced York – who is the principal owner of the 49ers – looked stunned after being pulled over by cops waiting for him to arrive.
The body worn footage from the East Palestine Police showed York sitting behind the wheel of his SUV wearing a pair of grey shorts and a New York Yankees t-shirt.
It shows the officer approaching the motor and taking off the NFL tycoon’s seatbelt while he looked shocked while keeping his hands up.
While he is being arrested, York repeatedly says: “Can I ask what you’re doing?”
The officer then takes him from the car and puts him in handcuffs.
York tells the cop he was “just driving,” before the officer asks him if he “was meeting anybody.”
He is then searched and placed in the back of a police car.
They were then seen searching his vehicle and finding money and two phones.
One cop is heard telling the other York “has more cash in his wallet.”
The other officer then says: “He’s a real estate guy, he’s got all the money.”
The same cop then adds: “It’s crazy the people that do this.”
Later footage shows the policeman on the phone to another officer who sends a “test message” to one of the phones, appearing to confirm it was the one York used to arrange the illicit meet up.
He was snared after allegedly paying $140 on a reportedly “known prostitution website.”
But the ad was actually a sting by Detective Dan Haueter, a veteran cop on the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force and an expert at prostitution busts.
After being snared by the phony sex ad, York was booked into the Columbiana County Jail.
He was reportedly arrested for engaging in prostitution but pled no contest to an amended charge of disorderly conduct.
He was also convicted of possessing criminal tools.
York was sentenced to one day in jail for each count, with the sentences served concurrently.
He was also ordered to pay a $150 fine for the disorderly conduct conviction and a $1,000 fine for possessing criminal tools.
Court records show both fines have been paid.
It comes after TMZ reported York filed for divorce from wife Danielle about three months ago.
He filed divorce papers at Santa Clara Superior Court in May, ending a marriage that had lasted more than 15 years.
He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
The couple reportedly agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their two children, ages 13 and 10.
York was a key player in the 49ers takeover of Rangers last year.
49ers Enterprises, the investment wing of the NFL giants, bought 51 per cent of the Ibrox side in a multi-million pound takeover after months of crucial talks.
York is a lead man in the investment side of the business – that also owns Leeds Utd – and was even named on Rangers’ website after the megabucks deal confirming Andrew Cavenagh as chairman and 49ers Enterprises chief Paraag Marathe as vice chair.
He has also been pictured in the stands at several Light Blues’ matches following the takeover.
