Sean “Diddy” Combs is at the center of a 𝓈𝒽𝓸𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 courtroom claim—and his team is firing back hard. According to testimony in the ongoing Tupac Shakur murder trial, a former LAPD detective dropped Diddy’s name in a bombshell allegation.
Sources close to the embattled music mogul tell TMZ the claim is completely false. They insist Diddy had “absolutely nothing” to do with the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, and that he never pulled the trigger or helped plan the killing.
The 𝒹𝓇𝒶𝓂𝒶 unfolded Wednesday when ex-detective Daryn Dupree took the stand. He testified that during a previous interview, Duane “Keefe D” Davis—the man charged in Tupac’s death—allegedly said Diddy owed him money.
According to Dupree, Davis claimed the money was supposed to go through an associate named Zip Martin. The funds were reportedly meant as payment for Tupac’s murder. Dupree said the cash never made it to Davis.
The detective also testified that Davis claimed Diddy tried to arrange the hit during a meeting at Greenblatt’s Deli in Los Angeles. Diddy’s camp has not responded to requests for comment on that specific detail.
But those close to the imprisoned mogul are shutting down the narrative. They say prosecutors would be wasting their time if they ever called Diddy as a witness.
