Tyga Responds After Doja Cat Calls Him a ‘Penis’ for Using AI to Make His New Album ‘$tarface’

Tyga is firing back after Doja Cat didn’t hold back on her feelings about his new album, calling him out in a very direct way during a recent livestream. The 𝒹𝓇𝒶𝓂𝒶 is heating up between these two former collaborators.

During her Wednesday livestream, Doja Cat, 30, made it clear she wasn’t a fan of Tyga using artificial intelligence for his latest project, $tarface. Without being asked, she shared her thoughts bluntly, reportedly saying, “Tyga is a penis for making an AI album.”

Now, Tyga, 36, is responding. In an appearance on TMZ Live, he addressed her comments with a mix of respect and a pointed comeback. “Listen, I love Doja, but she made a demonic album,” he said, referencing her recent work.

“But I still love her.”

The two rappers have a history of working together, including a 2019 remix of “Juicy” and the 2022 track “Freaky Deaky.” Their past collaborations make this back-and-forth even more intriguing for fans.

Tyga recently opened up about his decision to use AI for $tarface, explaining it was a tool for creating 1980s-inspired synths and guitars. He told VIBE that while some might be upset, he sees it as part of music’s natural evolution, similar to the introduction of AutoTune.

During the TMZ Live interview, Tyga clarified that he only used AI for production, insisting he wrote the lyrics and performed the vocals himself. He also spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about wanting to break creative boundaries after more than 15 years in the industry.

“This is the first project that people are seeing that’s completely different than other things that I’ve done,” Tyga said in July. “This character, $TARFACE, is a completely separate artist, completely separate aesthetic and everything.”
