The bond between NBA YoungBoy and his mother just hit a serious rough patch. After the rapper suggested in a recent interview that their conversations may be over for good, his mom Sherhonda Gaulden fired back with a painful response aimed straight at his parenting.
During his sit-down with Open Thoughts, YoungBoy opened up about past anger and reportedly linked some of it to his mom. He admitted he still loves her but hinted they likely won’t be speaking again.
Sherhonda didn’t hold back when she heard those words. She took to Instagram and called him out for being an absent father who rarely talks to his own kids. At one point, she claimed she was at the interview, but later realized she had confused it with a different one.
She also made it clear she doesn’t want him mentioning her name in public anymore, posting a warning on her Instagram Story.
This isn’t the first time fans have seen tension between them. Back during his 𝒹𝓇𝒶𝓂𝒶 with Kodak Black over Iyanna Mayweather’s arrest, Sherhonda openly defended her son. But for now, this family feud appears far from over.
