Savannah Guthrie is speaking out amid the ongoing turmoil surrounding her mother, Nancy Guthrie, whose recent disappearance has taken a 𝓈𝒽𝓸𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 turn. On June 23, Savannah urged anyone with information to come forward, following reports of a note sent to media outlets claiming her mother has passed away.

In an emotional plea, the 54-year-old cohost of Today expressed the anguish her family has been enduring. “I want to just take the opportunity to ask people, to really beg people to come forward,” she stated. “Somebody knows something, and this is a new story today that is on your radar, but this is the life that my sister lives, that I live, that my brother lives, that our extended families live, that our children live, every day. And we are in agony. We cannot be at peace.”

Savannah emphasized her family’s unwavering love for the 84-year-old, declaring they will “never stop looking for her.”

The troubling note, which surfaced after Nancy’s disappearance in February, reportedly claimed that she had died. While the existence of the letter was acknowledged, its specific contents had not been disclosed until now. Sources indicate that the note did not include any requests for payment or apologies, raising further questions about its origin.

Authorities have been investigating two letters sent to media representatives, with reports suggesting they are considered “potentially credible.” These letters were directed to Jessica Bobula, the news director at NBC News affiliate KOLD.

Nancy was last seen on January 31 at her home in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson, Arizona. Her family reported her missing the following day. In a chilling development, the Tucson Police Department confirmed on May 9 that a human bone was discovered seven miles from her residence. However, officials clarified that this finding was part of a “prehistoric anthropological investigation” and not linked to any criminal activity.

The FBI has also stepped in, offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information that could lead to Nancy’s whereabouts or the arrest of anyone involved in her disappearance.

As the search continues, the question remains: what truly happened to Nancy Guthrie?
