TMZ revealed that the mysterious sender insists they possess a phone containing a short video of a key suspect alongside the 84-year-old, along with photos, names, and addresses of those involved. “I have a phone stashed in a secure location guaranteeing both the information it stores and the safety of the phone,” the note reportedly stated.
The sender claims the phone is accessible to those who know where to look and is willing to reveal the password in exchange for one bitcoin. They also allege that two individuals were responsible for Guthrie’s abduction from her Tucson home on February 1.
In response to the alarming claims, TMZ has urged the sender to provide a screenshot of Guthrie to confirm the veracity of the disturbing assertions. The outlet has also reached out to the FBI for assistance, as they continue to receive a series of ransom notes related to the case.
