The couple revealed the exciting news on Instagram, sharing that Jason proposed on August 24 after only a few months of publicly sharing their relationship. Maddie announced the engagement with a romantic post featuring photos from the special moment, writing that she was thrilled to say yes.
“On 8/24, Jase asked me to marry him, and I could not be more excited,” Maddie shared alongside images capturing the proposal.
Jason also celebrated the milestone in the comments, simply writing, “She said yes!!❤️💍”
The engagement photos showed a carefully planned romantic setup, with the couple surrounded by candles on a beach. A heart-shaped arrangement of roses and a glowing “Will You Marry Me?” sign created the backdrop for the proposal.
The announcement came just three months after Jason and Maddie first made their relationship public. The couple introduced their romance online by sharing photos of themselves together on the beach, wearing coordinated white outfits and appearing affectionate as they held hands.
Although they kept their relationship relatively private, their connection quickly became serious. Maddie even accompanied Jason as his date to his sister Jana Duggar’s wedding to Stephen Wissmann earlier that month.
The couple’s photographer, Kayla Johnson, shared her excitement about their upcoming marriage, describing Jason and Maddie as one of the sweetest couples she has seen.
She praised Jason as a thoughtful and kind person, saying Maddie matched his energy perfectly and that the two appeared to bring out the best in each other.
