Prince William and actress Emma Watson appeared together at a Royal Foundation forum to call on businesses to join hands in addressing climate change.

On June 22nd, the Prince of Wales attended a business forum as part of the Royal Foundation’s United for Wildlife program, held as part of London Climate Action Week. The event also featured actress Emma Watson, actor Benedict Cumberbatch, and presenter June Sarpong.
On stage, William, Emma Watson, and Benedict Cumberbatch discussed their shared responsibility in protecting nature. According to the United for Wildlife Instagram account, the conversation focused on the role of businesses and the power of media in promoting environmental awareness.
Emma Watson argued that the way brands tell their stories and the level of transparency on environmental issues have a significant impact on young people. The actress, famous for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, partnered with the Earthshot Prize, founded by William Hill, and presented the “Fix Our Climate” award at the inaugural ceremony in 2021.

In her sharing, Emma recounted a humorous anecdote from her time filming Harry Potter. She once saw several people with long lenses standing outside her house and thought they were taking pictures of her. However, upon investigation, she learned they were actually watching a rare red hawk that had appeared near her backyard.
Beyond her acting career, Emma Watson has been actively involved in gender equality and environmental activities for many years. She has been a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador since 2014 and is one of the prominent faces of the HeForShe campaign.

The United for Wildlife Forum is part of an initiative launched by Prince William to mobilize financial institutions, businesses, and global leaders to combat illegal wildlife trafficking and promote environmental protection solutions.
