Conor McGregor has revealed that only two fights remain on his current UFC contract, including his highly anticipated return later this year.
The former two-division champion confirmed that he is scheduled to compete again in July after spending several years away from active competition. According to McGregor, the final fight on his current UFC deal is already planned and is expected to take place in April 2027.
McGregor admitted he would prefer a much more active schedule and expressed frustration over the long gap between appearances. He stated that he is ready to fight more frequently and would welcome another bout before the end of the year if given the opportunity.
Looking beyond his current contract, McGregor suggested that free agency could become a real possibility. While he emphasized his respect for the UFC and his desire to continue working with the organization, he also made it clear that future negotiations will depend on how both sides move forward.
For now, however, his primary focus remains on his upcoming return, where he hopes to remind fans why he remains one of the biggest stars in combat sports.
