Ysl Woody Reacts After PRE Sammie & Hernandez Govan Threw Hands After Bailing Outta Jail

Immediately after being released from prison, Hernandez Govan was arrested by the FBI, sparking a social media uproar.
The series of events surrounding Hernandez Govan – who was previously accused of fighting and killing rapper Young Dolph – has escalated to a new and more serious legal level. Just days after his release from jail, Govan was immediately brought to court by federal police on new charges. This incident not only eased previous tensions but also became a focal point of discussion, fueling numerous social media posts about the controversial figure.

It all began on June 11, 2026, when a commercial complaint was filed alleging Hernandez Govan warned Memphis to arrest those engaging in domestic violence. According to investigative records, Govan was accused by his ex-girlfriend of sending threatening messages demanding that her house be destroyed and money be paid by posting sensitive videos online. After appearing before a state judge on June 12, Govan was granted special bail with a relatively low bail amount of $4,000.

However, the real trouble erupted the day Govan left jail. A video that quickly went viral on social media showed Govan engaging in a violent street fight in Memphis. Insiders and online communities quickly pointed out that Govan’s opponent in the brawl was directly linked to members of PRE (Paper Route Empire) – the record label behind rapper Young Dolph, including PRE rapper Sammie. Although Govan was acquitted in the murder of Young Dolph in August 2025, the tension between him and PRE remains extremely high.

The situation became even more “unbelievable” when YSL Woody – the figure who caused a sensation across America with his bizarre testimony in Young Thug’s RICO project – officially spoke out. On his personal page, Woody continuously posted videos of himself laughing hysterically and Govan’s impulsive, “unlucky” behavior. Woody stated that it was unbelievable that someone who had just escaped a dangerous killer, been recaptured for a minor crime, and then, less than an hour after being released, immediately jumped back into the fray with a street punch. Although Govan had challenged Woody to a boxing match earlier in 2026, Woody declared this time he would only “watch the show” and did not want to get involved in real-life violent disputes.

The consequences of Govan’s “acting before thinking” behavior immediately came to light earlier this week. On June 15, 2026, Govan was unable to attend the scheduled court hearing because he was formally arrested by the FBI and transferred to federal custody. According to Action News 5, Govan appeared in federal court in a red prison jumpsuit and handcuffs, facing charges of interdicting in a federal crime (via the internet). Federal prosecutors requested that Govan be kept in interdict (detention without bail) because they determined he posed a direct threat to the person.

Currently, Hernandez Govan faces the possibility of up to five years in federal prison if he is found guilty of the internet crime, not to mention the confidentiality order from the previous state-run project which will almost certainly be reviewed to dismiss the project. From a man who confidently declared he was “happy to do it himself” after the Young Dolph service, Govan is now entangled in a new legal mess with no way out. His next hearing in federal court is scheduled for June 18, 2026, to decide whether he will continue to be held in special isolation.
