Darren Till is making headlines for all the wrong reasons as he reveals he’s been barred from attending the highly anticipated Misfits Boxing event this Saturday, where Tommy Fury is set to face off against Eddie Hall. The former UFC fighter is fuming over what he calls a “ridiculous” situation, reportedly orchestrated by Fury’s father, John Fury.
The tension between Till and the Fury family dates back to early 2025 when a planned boxing match between Till and Tommy was abruptly canceled. Till had suggested he might incorporate “MMA tactics” into the boxing bout, prompting Fury to blame him for the fight’s collapse. Since then, Till has bounced back in the boxing world, achieving notable victories, including a knockout of former UFC champion Luke Rockhold and a recent impressive debut in BKFC.
In a Twitter outburst, Till expressed his frustration over being informed of his ban from the Misfits Boxing event. “I’ve never heard or seen anything so f*cking ridiculous in my life,” he tweeted, claiming that a contract from July explicitly prohibits him from attending any event featuring Tommy Fury. He didn’t hold back in his criticism, calling the situation a display of cowardice.
Despite the ban, Till is determined to make an appearance at the event, even if it means disguising himself. “I’m still turning up on a random ticket with a cap and glasses on,” he declared, vowing to be in the stands to support his friends, including fighters Matt Floyd and Luke Nevin.
As the event approaches, Misfits Boxing has yet to respond to Till’s comments. Will Darren Till find a way to sneak into the arena, or will he remain on the sidelines? Fans are eagerly waiting to see how this drama unfolds.
