Kendra Duggar Reportedly Cuts Off Her Family Amid Joseph Duggar’s Ongoing Legal Crisis

Kendra Duggar has reportedly cut ties with her parents and siblings as her husband, Joseph Duggar, continues to battle serious criminal charges in Florida and Arkansas.

Kendra Duggar 'cut off' her parents as husband Joseph's legal battle rages on: reportAccording to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, Kendra, 27, is “not communicating with her family” following the fallout surrounding Joseph Duggar’s arrest on child molestation charges earlier this year.

The insider also claimed Kendra’s parents, Paul and Christina Caldwell, along with their eight children, recently left the home where they had been staying and placed their belongings into storage as they work through the aftermath of the highly publicized case.

“They are still working out what their next steps will be. It has been an extremely stressful time especially given the circumstances,” the source said.

The report comes after Paul Caldwell publicly revealed last month that his family lost both housing and employment opportunities following Joseph Duggar’s arrest. A GoFundMe campaign was later launched to help support the family financially during the transition.

Kendra Duggar Reunited with Children After No-Contact Order, as She and Joseph Plead Not Guilty to Charges“Relocating is always difficult, especially with a large family and the stress they are under,” the source continued. “They are considering a move out of state. Paul is looking for work to support the family because he had to leave his job.”

Despite reportedly wanting distance from the Duggar family, the Caldwells are said to be hurt by the breakdown in communication with Kendra.

“The Caldwells want to distance themselves from the Duggars as much as possible, but it hurts them to be cut off by Kendra,” the insider alleged.

The source also claimed the family experienced safety concerns before leaving their residence, saying utilities had been shut off and the family no longer felt secure staying there.

“More than anything they want to feel safe and start over and to enter counseling to heal,” the source added.

Page Six reported that representatives for Kendra Duggar did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Joseph Duggar, 31, has pleaded not guilty to charges involving the alleged molestation of a 9-year-old girl during a 2020 family vacation in Florida. Authorities charged him with lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim younger than 12 and lewd and lascivious conduct by a person over 18.

Just days after Joseph’s arrest, Kendra was also arrested in Arkansas on child endangerment-related charges before later being released on bond.
