According to attendees and videos shared on social media, fans loudly booed as Scott exited the stage, with many demanding refunds after the shortened appearance.

The event had been marketed as a premium nightlife experience featuring a live performance and DJ set from Travis Scott alongside opening acts from other artists. Promotional material reportedly promised a lengthy show beginning around 11 p.m., attracting roughly 2,500 attendees.

Following the backlash, Scott addressed the controversy on Instagram, explaining that he was attending primarily to host a birthday celebration for a friend rather than perform a full concert.

“I only came to host a party for a friend’s big day,” Scott wrote online, while also telling fans he hoped to return to Turkey for a proper performance in the future.

However, statements reportedly given by Scott’s representatives to Turkish media described the appearance differently, claiming the rapper hosted the event for about an hour before delivering what they called an “exceptional performance.”

Videos circulating online captured audience members booing and expressing disappointment as Scott left the venue, while others criticized organizers for the high ticket prices attached to the event.

The controversy now marks a rocky introduction for Travis Scott’s live performances in Turkey, with fans continuing to debate whether attendees were misled about the nature of the event.
