THE Grand Final of Eurovision is underway, with the 70th winner of the iconic singing competition set to be announced in just a few hours.
And yesterday, the BBC confirmed that the United Kingdom will have its very first Eurovision ‘spokesqueen’ announcing the all‑important National Jury results.

When is Eurovision 2026 on?
The Grand Final of Eurovision began at 8pm tonight, being available to watch on BBC One and the iPlayer right now.
Denmark’s Søren Torpegaard Lund kick-started the night by performing Før Vi Går Hjem.
And the exceptional, eccentric acts will continue until the hosts and reigning champions Austria round off the night with COSMÓ performing his song Tanzschein.
Representing the UK is Look Mum No Computer, real name Sam Battle, who will look to defy the odds and win the contest, despite bookmakers ranking him as a 150/1 outsider.

The night will end with the results of the Grand Final, but who will be announcing them for the UK and every other country?
Who is announcing the Eurovision results for each country?
Announcing the Eurovision results for the UK will be singer and global icon La Voix.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star was loved by fans of the show throughout her time on series six, progressing all the way to the final.
Since then she has made appearances on Britain’s Got Talent, a role in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, and achieved a fourth‑place finish on Graham Norton’s Queen of the Universe.

Last year she even appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, partnering up with Aljaž Škorjanec and becoming a fan favourite until having to pull out due to injury ahead of Blackpool week (week nine).
On her role at the Grand Final, La Voix said: “I’m absolutely over the moon to be announcing the UK Jury scores at Eurovision 2026.
“It’s the one night where sequins are en masse, key changes are compulsory, and absolutely anything can happen – so naturally I feel right at home.
“I’ll do my best to behave… but no promises!”
