Joy-Anna Duggar Expecting Baby No. 4 as She and Austin Forsyth Pursue Their Arkansas Farm Dream

Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, are preparing to welcome another member into their growing family while continuing to work toward the Arkansas property they have long dreamed of calling home.

The Counting On alum, 28, announced on Instagram that she and Forsyth are expecting their fourth child together, with the baby due in 2027.

 

In the photos, Joy-Anna proudly cradled her growing baby bump while wearing a flowing white dress. Forsyth stood beside her with his hands beneath her belly, smiling as they celebrated the pregnancy. The final image featured the couple’s sonogram.

“Coming 2027!! So much joy, so much excitement, and so much love for this little one already. God knew we needed you,” the couple wrote in their announcement.

They also revealed that the pregnancy photos were taken by their children, Gideon, 8, and Evelyn, 5. Joy-Anna and Austin are also parents to 3-year-old Gunner.

The pregnancy announcement comes during another major transition for the family as Joy-Anna and Austin continue pursuing their dream of having a larger property where their children can grow up with plenty of outdoor space.

Earlier this year, the couple finally sold their Fayetteville, Ark., home after keeping it on the market for roughly seven months. The property sold for $381,000, which was $12,000 above the original asking price of $369,000.

Joy-Anna and Austin had listed the home in August 2024 as they prepared to move toward a lifestyle with more land for their children.

Their former house measured approximately 1,731 square feet and featured three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The property was known for its natural light, wood flooring and neutral interior design, along with built-in storage and large windows.

The kitchen featured an island with seating, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Nearby, the living area included a stone-surround fireplace and enough room for a dining area.

A spacious porch provided additional room for entertaining and enjoying the surrounding landscape, while the home also included an updated bathroom, a primary suite with a large tiled shower, a laundry room, ceiling fans and floor-to-ceiling curtains.

The nearly one-acre property also offered direct access to Kessler Mountain Regional Park, giving the family convenient access to walking and biking trails. It was located about 2.5 miles from the University of Arkansas and roughly 1.5 miles from the freeway.

The house was also only about a 20-minute drive from the large Arkansas property belonging to Joy-Anna’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who famously raised their 19 children there.

Despite growing up in one of America’s most well-known large families, Joy-Anna has previously said she does not have a desire to have 19 children herself. Instead, she and Austin have emphasized their desire to give their children more room to play and enjoy life outdoors.

The couple previously shared emotional memories from the Fayetteville home as they prepared to leave.

Joy-Anna posted a family photo showing herself, Austin and their children in the kitchen after packing up. She described it as their final family photograph inside the house after nearly five years there.

“We’re a sweaty mess after moving, but this picture starts a new adventure!” she wrote, expressing excitement about what the coming years would bring.

She also shared the first family photograph they had taken at the property, showing the couple standing on the front porch with their oldest child, Gideon.

After leaving the home, Joy-Anna explained that she and Austin had always imagined living on a piece of land where their children could roam freely and where they could eventually have a farm.

 

She told followers that they had spent months searching for the right rental while working toward that larger dream.

“We have always dreamed of living on some land, having room for the kids to roam, having a farm, all of that,” she said.

The couple ultimately moved into a rental property while continuing to pursue their long-term plans. Joy-Anna said the rental seemed to arrive at exactly the right time after months of searching.

She also teased followers about giving them a tour of the new home, saying the move had gone smoothly and that the family had already settled in.

Joy-Anna grew up in the spotlight alongside her 18 siblings on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting, later appearing on the network’s Counting On. After spending much of her life in front of television cameras, she has increasingly focused her attention on her husband, children and family life.

Now, with a fourth baby on the way and their dream of owning a farm still unfolding, Joy-Anna and Austin are entering another major chapter — one that could bring both a new child and a new home for their growing family.
