I had been married to BB for eight years. The last thing you expect from someone you’ve been with that long is that she’d cheat on you with your own brother. And that wasn’t even the worst of it. We met through a family friend who thought we were both too old to be single.

He arranged for us to meet. It went well. I looked for red flags and didn’t find any. She was a good person in every other way.

We chose not to have children, and I was glad about that. Even after everything, I don’t regret that. The first hint came when my brother Daniel came to stay with us for a few days. He lived several states away, and I hadn’t seen him in ages.

He knew BB well, so nothing seemed off about that. The first day, he was normal. But the day before he was due to leave, he started acting really strange around me. Nervous.

Talking too much. Like he was trying to be his normal self but something was wrong. I kept asking what was going on, but he kept saying he was fine. Then I noticed BB acting off too, and I knew something had happened between the two of them.

I didn’t want to believe it was anything intimate because that was literally the worst-case scenario. I tried to think of other explanations. I couldn’t come up with any. I decided to confront my brother directly.

I went up to him acting like I already knew what had happened. I said BB had been acting odd just like him, and that I had spoken to her. I asked him to be honest and tell me his side. I was angry but trying to stay civil.

I think he was about to come clean, but at that moment BB walked in, and he decided to stick with his story that nothing was up. When you have a strong feeling your wife and brother are sleeping together but no proof, what can you do? He left the next day. I grilled BB without telling her what I suspected.

She got annoyed at how insistent my questioning was, so I dropped it. I tried snooping through her phone and her messages with Daniel. The conversations were sparse and basic. If they had talked about what happened, she had deleted the evidence.

There wasn’t anything for me to go by. It felt stupid to accuse them both of betrayal based on two people acting weird. There are lots of reasons people act strange. In the end, I let it go.

I called my brother one more time about it, but it didn’t yield anything. I never said the words “slept together,” but I’m sure they were smart enough to know that was what I was worried about. My confirmation came several months later at a wedding in another state. It was a close relative of mine, so my brother was there and so was my dad.

My mother died when I was young, so my dad had been single for years. He looks like an older version of me, but he takes great care of himself, so he’s still attractive. A lot of us stayed in the same hotel. .

BB told me she was tired and wanted to head to the room. I stayed and danced and had fun. When I got back to the room, she was asleep. The next morning, BB stayed in bed claiming she was hung over.

I went to grab breakfast. I saw my dad there. He said he needed to talk to me, that it was extremely important. I could tell by his face it wasn’t good news.

He said we should finish eating first. Then he said we should take a walk. That was when he told me without hesitation that BB had come to his room after she leftthe wedding. He let her in because they had a chill relationship.

That never bothered me before because I trusted my dad more than anyone in the world. He told me they started out catching up, but then she started getting flirty and touchy. He assumed she’d had too much to drink, so he tried to reject her gently. Then she went straight for a kiss and tried to grab his crotch.

He pushed her away a bit roughly. She asked, “Do you think I’m drunk? Is that why you don’t want me? ” He told her no, that he knew what he was doing.

She stood up and dropped the shoulders of her gown to expose her chest. He had to more roughly push her out of the room. He promised me he hadn’t done more than that, but that I needed to know that she had tried to seduce him and that was just as bad. I took it hard.

I already suspected she’d cheated on me with my brother. Now I knew she’d tried to cheat on me with my own dad. How bad can a woman be? My dad tried to make me feel better, but how am I meant to feel when I find out my wife didn’t just cheat on me, but she tried to do it with the person closest to me?

In the midst of that, I knew I had to find out what really happened with her and my brother. Even if she had only tried to seduce him and nothing happened, it wouldn’t have saved us from divorce. I just needed to know the truth. I thought there was a chance my brother hadn’t deleted their messages like she had.

He didn’t live with me. There was little reason for him to delete them unless he wanted to be safe. I knew there was no way he’d hand me his phone. So I told my dad everything, including what I suspected.

He looked even more shocked. He felt terrible for me that my wife was that kind of person. She always seemed so good. I really thought I knew her, but I guess you can never truly know someone.

My dad said he’d help me check my brother’s phone since his guard would be down around him. I agreed. He managed to do it before we left. He used my brother’s phone by saying his own was charging in the hotel room.

My brother handed it over without issue. My dad checked his chats with BB, screenshot them, sent the pictures to me from my brother’s phone, then deleted the screenshots from the chat and the gallery. It was exactly what I feared. The messages showed it happened.

My brother regretted it. Not that it mattered. BB had come on to him, he hadn’t said no, and they had sex right there in my house. Afterward they were both left with guilt, it seemed.

But for her to try it again with my dad, there clearly wasn’t enough guilt on her part. Realizing you’re married to a woman who has no issue sleeping with your brother, then trying to sleep with your dad, is life-changing. I wasted years of my life with her. After more than a decade in my life, I found out she was never the kind of person I could trust.

It killed me. I thanked my dad. Then I went to confront my brother while he was packing in his hotel room. I’m not proud of it, but I don’t regret it.

I sucker punched him as soon as I saw him. It connected well. He fell to the floor, looking at me in shock. He didn’t say anything.

I’m sure he knew exactly what happened. I crouched over him and grabbed the collar of his shirt. My fist was clenched and I wanted to hit him again, but I chose not to because his lip was bleeding. I told him he was dead to me.

I let go and walked out. I heard him say he was really sorry. I didn’t have anything to say, so I kept walking. I went back to the room.

BB had recovered from her hangover. I acted normally and asked if she’d had breakfast. She said she wasn’t hungry. We drove back home.

I only got the chance to see her acting uneasy once we got there. I’m sure she’d read the text from Daniel while I was driving. Now she didn’t know how to react. It was probably worse because I didn’t even tell Daniel why I hit him.

He had to figure it out himself. She asked me a few times if I was good. I’d just smile, look at her, and say, “Yep. Why wouldn’t I be?

” I could tell she was extremely uncomfortable being at home with me. That was good. I was enjoying the fact that she knew I knew, but she didn’t know whether I’d chosen to let it slide or whether I was going to destroy her life. She didn’t deserve easy living at this point.

She could move out if it got that bad. She probably thought I didn’t know about the thing with my dad either. She’d find out I did. I planned to confront her, but I wanted to get the divorce papers ready first.

I wasn’t in a rush. I wanted her to deal with the mental stress. Update one. I confronted BB about cheating on me with my brother and trying to sleep with my dad.

Just writing that out is horrible, but it’s the truth. It was a Saturday. Someone was at the door. I told her to get it.

It was the process server with the divorce papers. By the time she walked into the living room, I went straight into it. I told her I didn’t want anything to do with her ever again. I wanted a divorce.

She actually asked why. I told her she was a stupid whore for asking me that. Yes, I said it. No, I don’t regret it.

I was angry. I still am. And I have the right to be. I told her she knew exactly why, and she knew I knew.

I hated that she still thought she could play dumb. What was the point? To buy time? I told her she ruined our marriage and she did it in the worst way possible.

I let her know I hated my brother now, but I hated her more, and I was never going to stop. She started crying. It made me laugh. I asked her where her emotions were when she decided to sleep with Daniel.

She tried to interrupt, to explain herself, but I told her to shut up. There was nothing she could say to fix this. Before she could say anything, I told her I knew she’d tried to sleep with my dad, too. I saw her face change because she had no idea I knew.

I called her every name under the sun. My voice was raised. The neighbors could probably hear, but I didn’t care. I needed her to know my true feelings.

I’m not one of those soft husbands who confront their wives gently. I’m not the “I’ll always love you” type either. I hate her now, and I can admit that. I asked her whybecause that was what I really wanted to know.

I was screaming, but she couldn’t say anything. Or wouldn’t. She just kept crying. I asked over and over.

Nothing came out. By the time I was done, she was full-on crying. Whether it was because I’d been mean, because she regretted her actions, or both, I was glad to see her in tears. I’d been hurt as badly as anyone could hurt me.

Seeing her in pain wasn’t a bad payoff. I told her she had twenty minutes to pack her things and get out. She acted slow about it at first. When I started throwing random things into a suitcase for her, she got up from the floor and started packing.

She was out before the twenty minutes were over. I know I came off like a prick to a lot of people reading this. But that’s what happens when your wife sleeps with your brother and you have to cut both of them out of your life. I’m just waiting for the divorce now.

But I know that’s not where I’m going to end things with her. Update two. I’m back. I can say I’m finally done with BB.

I was in a horrible place in my last update. I can say a lot of those negative emotions are still around, but I found an outlet for a lot of them. The divorce wasn’t the interesting part. It went by pretty quickly.

I kept the apartment. I kept the car. I have to pay alimony. That’s pretty much it.

I hate giving her money after all that, but we all understand how the legal system works. So, whatever. What was interesting was what I chose to do after the divorce. Looking back, it was quite fun for me.

I still had the screenshots my dad sent me from my brother’s phone. That was all I needed. We live in a relatively small town. I made a long post explaining the situation on the town’s Facebook page.

I included the screenshots. Then I printed out that post and the screenshots. I put it on bulletin boards around town. I didn’t hide that I was behind it.

That was obvious. A lot of people reached out to me. Some said they were sorry. Others asked for more details so they could gossip more accurately.

I told them everything they wanted to know. Of course, BB reached out. She was angry. She told me to take down the post.

She’d taken down my papers from a lot of the bulletin boards, but I knew people had seen them in that time. She didn’t know I had one at the church in town. I told her it was impossible because it was part of what she deserved. She threatened legal action.

I laughed because the claims I made could be backed up by the screenshots or by my father. She said I was ruining her life. I said I was glad to hear that. I stopped by the place she worked to buy a few things.

She was very uneasy when I walked in. I talked with her boss about the situation. It was clear he didn’t know whose side to take, but I wanted to know the kind of person he had hired. I also made sure the customers in the store heard it, so they’d know the kind of person who worked there.

The whole thing became a scandal. The kind small towns love because they don’t have enough entertainment. I kept posting on bulletin boards daily. While a few people tried to stop me, most of the papers stayed up for at least a few hours straight.

She got tired of being the talk of the town. She came to the apartment to give me a piece of her mind. She told me she was leaving town because I had ruined her life and she couldn’t live there anymore. She was depressed and anxious.

She couldn’t sleep at night. She said she didn’t deserve to go through all that because of the mistakes she made. I told her she deserved worse. She said, “I knew I wouldn’t be able to get you to talk civilly.

” I just laughed. That stung. I saw tears welling in her eyes. She left before I could see her cry.

I look back on that moment and I feel good. I’m not a good person, but I never claimed to be. I was good to her, but that never mattered. For now, I’m staying away from women in general.

I don’t want anything to do with them. Maybe one day that’ll change, but it’s not any day close. Cheating with your brother is absolutely vile. But trying your dad?

That’s a whole new level of catastrophic. There’s no excuse for it. No mitigating circumstances. This isn’t a lapse in judgment.

It’s pure deliberate maliciousness. Anyone capable of seducing both your brother and then trying your father is totally toxic. Your brother isn’t innocent here. These aren’t people you mourn or forgive.

You run far away. And honestly, the bulletin board campaign? Brilliant. Nothing says “you’re a disaster and everyone knows it” quite like plastering the receipts all over town.

That’s turning their chaos back on them full forceand making sure they finally feel the weight of the havoc they caused.
