The former couple also sold their family home and split the proceeds, the outlet reported.

The 33-year-old Indiana maths teacher is accused by prosecutors of giving students as young as 13 alcohol and magic mushrooms before allegedly having sex with them.

In one alleged incident, the mother-of-four is accused of making her victims wear masks from the Scream film franchise.

One child told police Fortinberry spent $600 on him and other boys at a shopping mall before allegedly making them wear the masks while she sexually abused them.

The same boy claimed the substitute teacher once sent him a video of herself performing a sex act, according to an affidavit.

Fortinberry allegedly met her victims at two Morgan County schools in 2024.

Prosecutors also allege she threatened to take her own life if the teenagers told anyone about the abuse.

One alleged victim said Fortinberry threatened to rape boys who refused to have sex with her, or force them to watch as she abused others.

Police searching her home allegedly found a stripper pole and sex toys, which prosecutors say were linked to the alleged abuse.

Her charges include sexual misconduct with a minor, dissemination of material harmful to minors and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

If convicted on all charges and given consecutive sentences, she could face the rest of her life behind bars.

Nicholas is also facing charges after allegedly knowing about the abuse but telling the boys to keep quiet.

He allegedly threatened to “slaughter” one of the victims in front of his family if he spoke out.

Another boy claimed Nicholas told them they should not tell anyone about the alleged sex acts until they turned 16.

The investigation began in August 2024 after the grandmother of a 15-year-old reported that Fortinberry had allegedly molested him, sent him nude photographs and drugged him.

Since then, several more alleged victims have come forward.

One said he decided to speak out because he did not want Fortinberry to “molest more kids”.

Fortinberry resigned from Eminence High School the day after the initial allegations emerged.
