HIT, FLUNG… THEN HE RAN: Shocking moment motorcyclist flies across a car after smashing into its bonnet—before suddenly sprinting from the crash scene

THIS is the disturbing moment a biker smashed into the bonnet of a car before getting up and – in a twisted turn of events – fleeing the scene in north London.

Police were called to the scene of the crash on Moundfield Road, Stamford Hill, at 5.41pm on Sunday.

Instead of finding the victim, officers recovered “a quantity of drugs” in the aftermath of the collision.

CCTV footage showed how the bizarre incident unfolded on the quiet road.

Moments after the car stopped at a crossing, the bike smashed into its right side.

The man is flung in the air before landing on the asphalt on the other side of the vehicle.

Miraculously, he stands up – seemingly uninjured – and flees the scene on foot, abandoning his bike and one of his shoes.

Behind him, he also leaves a small package that has spilled on the asphalt.

A number of people who witnessed the crash appeared confused about why the man ran away, pointing at his direction.

Officers said they later recovered drugs from the crashed bike that was left behind.

A photo shared on X from the scene of the incident shows an officer holding a clear bag, with evidence inside.

“Enquiries are ongoing and officers are looking for the suspect who fled the scene,” a statement from the police said.

“He is described as white, with short dark hair and was wearing black trousers and a light green top.

“Anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5527/16Aug.”
