Cardi B has surprised fans with the release of her new single “AH HA,” marking her first solo release of 2026. The upbeat track arrived on July 31 after days of teasing on social media, where a beachside preview of the song amassed more than 81 million views and fueled anticipation among fans.

Produced by DJ SwanQo, the hitmaker behind Cardi’s chart-topping single “Up,” “AH HA” blends the rapper’s signature confidence, humor, and unapologetic attitude. Throughout the song, Cardi takes aim at critics while celebrating her success, delivering witty punchlines and playful taunts. The official lyric video features an animated version of the rapper relaxing on a beach in a bikini inspired by the Dominican Republic flag, paying tribute to her heritage.
The release comes after an extraordinary run for Cardi B. Earlier this year, she wrapped The Little Miss Drama Tour, which became the highest-grossing debut U.S. arena tour by a female rapper, selling more than 450,000 tickets. Her second studio album, Am I the Drama?, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2025, making her the first female rapper to have her first two albums open atop the chart. The project has since accumulated more than 14 billion streams worldwide and produced a record-breaking number of Billboard Hot 100 entries for a female rapper.
Cardi has also continued to dominate the awards circuit in 2026. She won Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards, where she performed a medley of songs from Am I the Drama?, and recently headlined a special one-night performance at New York City’s Pacha nightclub.
With “AH HA,” Cardi B appears determined to keep the momentum going. The single showcases the outspoken style that helped make her one of hip-hop’s biggest stars while reminding listeners that she remains one of the genre’s most influential voices. As fans stream the new track, many are already speculating whether “AH HA” could become her next major chart hit.
