Savannah Guthrie is once again sharing her heartache over her mother, Nancy Guthrie’s, abduction, as the search by authorities stretches into its fourth month. The “Today” show co-host took to Instagram to express her emotions through a poignant message, reflecting the ongoing struggle to bring her mother home safely.
In her Instagram stories, Savannah posted a touching image of Jesus Christ’s ascension, accompanied by a heartfelt caption: “Oh my, my soul, it cries out, soul, it cries out, bring her home.” This emotional plea resonates deeply, especially considering Nancy’s age of 84 and her declining health.
Authorities, including the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, are still actively pursuing leads in this baffling case. Despite their efforts, no arrests have been made, and the investigation continues to face challenges. Reports indicate that several media outlets, such as TMZ, have received ransom notes from individuals believed to be connected to the abduction, but these leads have since gone cold.

In a recent update, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos revealed that investigators are analyzing DNA evidence in hopes of identifying those responsible for Nancy’s disappearance. Savannah has been a vocal advocate for her mother’s safe return, bravely returning to her co-hosting role on “Today” on April 6 after taking a brief hiatus following the traumatic event.
As the search persists, the question remains: what will it take to bring Nancy Guthrie back to her family?
