Ice-T is turning up the heat as he confirms his full return to “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” for its 28th season. After a limited role in the previous season, fans can expect to see him in every episode, much to their delight.
In a recent chat on “The TMZ Podcast” with Towanda Robinson, the iconic rapper and actor shared insights about his beloved character, Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola, whom he has portrayed since the show’s inception in 2000. Ice-T revealed that his reduced presence in Season 27 was due to producers reallocating resources to bring back Kelli Giddish’s character, Amanda Rollins. He expressed understanding of the decision, noting that it allowed him to pursue other lucrative opportunities during that time.
Now, with his full commitment to the show, Ice-T invites fans to tune in weekly as he joins Mariska Hargitay and the rest of the cast in tackling the toughest cases in New York City.

In addition to discussing his role on SVU, Ice-T also touched on his wife Coco Austin’s vibrant social media presence and his exciting new project, OG Network. For more details on their conversation, check out the latest episode of the podcast!
