According to court documents, Lil Uzi Vert, born Symere Bysil Woods, alleges that Lynn Tumpa, an employee at the rehab facility, recorded a portion of their therapy session without consent. This recording reportedly made its way to Tumpa’s teenage nephew and subsequently circulated on social media platforms, including X and Instagram, causing significant emotional distress to the artist.

The rapper entered the rehab facility in February 2022 to focus on their sobriety, participating in both group and individual therapy throughout their stay.
