The feud between hip-hop legends Dame Dash and Cam’ron has flared up again with extremely harsh words. Recently, Dame Dash publicly mocked Cam’ron’s appearance after the rapper appeared live on ESPN. This action reignited the long-standing feud between the two former members of the renowned Roc-A-Fella record label.
Specifically, Dame Dash cut a clip from the ESPN program and posted it on social media. In the post, the music producer didn’t hesitate to criticize Cam’ron’s dry lips and implied his breath smelled bad. He even included the hashtag #stinkbreathcrew and compared Cam’ron to the weak, traitorous Fredo in the classic film The Godfather.
This attack is believed to be retaliation after a series of personal disputes related to the two’s dental issues. Previously, Cam’ron had repeatedly mocked Dame Dash for losing her dentures during a live stream. In response, Dame Dash released a short snippet of her song “Cheap Teeth” to ridicule her former colleague’s oversized and cheap-looking dentures.

However, the root cause of this feud wasn’t just physical insults. Their relationship completely broke down after Dame Dash filed a lawsuit against Cam’ron for $300 million. Dame Dash accused Cam’ron of defaming her and directly ruining her major business deals.
Furthermore, Cam’ron’s collaboration with rapper 50 Cent on a television series based on the classic 2002 film *Paid in Full* was the final straw. Because Dame Dash was the producer of the original film, he considered Cam’ron’s unilateral copyright negotiations a great betrayal of their long-standing friendship.
In contrast to Dame Dash’s angry reaction, Cam’ron remained quite nonchalant and viewed the confrontation as a form of entertainment. Sharing on his sports podcast, Cam’ron stated that the back-and-forth arguments with his former boss were purely for amusement. The Harlem rapper affirmed that he wouldn’t back down but also didn’t want to escalate the matter beyond playful banter on social media.
