Moment three men brawl on Tube train in front of shocked commuters before it spills onto platform at West London station

This is the moment a violent brawl erupted inside a Tube carriage filled with commuters, before it spilled out onto the busy platform.

Footage shows three young men exchanging violent blows at Earls Court station in Kensington, west London, during the evening rush hour on Tuesday.

The fight left one man topless and another with his shirt ripped as members of the public and station staff attempted to intervene.

Transport for London employees in high vis jackets gathered around the carriage doors and ordered the three men to ‘get off the train’.

A member of staff can be heard saying in the video: ‘This train will not move with you on it. We’ll sort it out.’

One man, wearing blue shorts, stood on the platform while the two others remained on board.

Meanwhile, another passenger urged the pair to leave the train, which had been held at the platform because of the disturbance.

Shocked commuters on the District Line train can be seen in the footage watching on in disbelief.

One frustrated passenger could be heard saying: ‘Sorry mate, we all have places to go.’

It is understood that services at Earls Court, which is served by the District and Piccadilly lines, were held as a result of the altercation.

The footage has sparked a flurry of reactions online after it went viral on social media.

One person said: ‘Public transport safety is important for all passengers.’

Another person added: ‘Fights and degeneracy literally everywhere you look [in London]. Can’t even ride the train in peace.’

A third person said: ‘Public transport is always better when you take the public out of it.’

Another added: ‘Call the police? He’s running from the other person for his own safety.

‘TFL sort your staff out. Shocking.

‘They should be keeping them apart and calling the police.’

British Transport Police told the Daily Mail they have not received any reports in relation to the incident.

TfL has been approached for comment.
