Following the hearing, Duggar was granted release after posting a $600,000 bond and was permitted to return to Arkansas while awaiting future court proceedings.

As part of the conditions of his release, Judge Brantley Clark ordered that Duggar have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18. The restrictions will remain in place as the case moves through the legal system.

Duggar, 31, was arrested in Arkansas on March 18 before being extradited to Bay County, Florida. Authorities allege the case stems from incidents that reportedly occurred during a family vacation in Panama City Beach in 2020.

According to investigators, the alleged victim, who is now 14 years old, told authorities during a forensic interview that she was nine years old when the incidents occurred. Court documents state that she accused Duggar of inappropriate physical contact on multiple occasions during the trip.

The case has generated significant public attention due to Duggar’s association with the famous Duggar family, who rose to prominence through their long-running reality television appearances.

Meanwhile, Duggar and his wife, Kendra Duggar, are also facing separate legal issues in Arkansas. The couple was charged with multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment in a separate investigation. Kendra was briefly taken into custody before being released on bond.

The pair share four children together and have remained at the center of intense media scrutiny since Joseph’s arrest.
