Rapper Boosie BadAzz Causes Internal Disruption by Banning Transgender People from a Ball

Rapper Boosie BadAzz is currently the target of public criticism. He announced a ban on transgender women attending a topless (semi-nude) poolside cocktail party he arranged. The American rapper claimed this action would “protect the reputation” of other guests.

The rule at the entrance began when Boosie shared a private message on social media. The message stated that transgender women were not allowed to attend the party on June 20th in Georgia (USA).

Notably, the rapper still required a physical screening of guests at the entrance. This security force would quickly check features such as “palate,” “angular facial features,” or “large hands” to detect transgender individuals.

Responding to public outcry: “My house, my rules” After facing a wave of backlash during Pride Month, Boosie posted a video responding to the backlash. He didn’t apologize but still offered reasons to defend his personal views.

He compared the rule to restaurants banning ripped jeans or events requiring transparent bags.

Boosie stated that his party included many NFL and NBA players, lawyers, and famous rappers. He wanted to protect the image of these “big names.”

The rapper argued that the online community was forcing him to change his perspective. The online community is currently divided into two camps regarding the rapper’s statement.

Many LGBTQ+ rights activists believe Boosie’s actions are inappropriate. They emphasize that this practice increases the risk of violence and discrimination against transgender women of color.

A segment of supporters defends Boosie. They thought that, as the homeowner, he had the absolute right to decide who would set foot on his property.

This isn’t the first time Boosie BadAzz has caused controversy on the topic of sexuality. Previously, he was also criticized for mocking a football player for painting his nails.
