Following the heart-stopping success of the first film released in 2022, this new installment shifts the setting from the towering antenna tower to the rugged mountains of Thailand.
Jax (played by Harriet Slater) is still reeling from the death of her sister, Hunter (a character from the first film). In her memory, she decides to embark on a perilous mountain climbing adventure with Luce (Arsema Thomas), an old friend of Hunter’s.
Their goal is to conquer the precarious wooden planks clinging to the cliff face of Mount Kwan.
A sudden, devastating rockslide destroys the path, trapping them on a narrow plank over 1,500 meters (5,000 feet) above the ground. There, they must survive in the harsh environment as oxygen levels plummet and there is no escape.
